Hi Moms! What's the weather like is during the first week in Oct? Planning on MNSSHP one night. Will DDs (8 & 6) be sweltering in their princess dresses? One is Merida (long sleeve dress). Trip is a surprise, so trying to plan costumes secretly!

    Hi Sharon,

You will just love going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  This is my family's favorite special event.  We just have so much fun Trick-or-Treating through the Magic Kingdom.  Make sure that you see the beginning of the Boo to You Parade as the Headless Horseman rides through the Magic Kingdom!  The HalloWishes fireworks are amazing as well.  There is no need to bring a Trick-or-Treating bag because you will get this when you enter the park.  Usually the weather in October is highs in the mid 80s and lows to the mid 60s.  I find that once the sun goes down in the Fall, it certainly chills off so quickly.  Certainly, the weather can be unseasonably warm but I think you will be fine to have a long sleeve gown as long as the fabric is a bit thin.  Your daughters will be so surprised!  I know your vacation will be magical!
