Hello, I have been going to WDW for years now!!! I just found some old Height Return Group Fastpass Cards! Can I still use these with Grandkids if they meet the Height Requirements.

    Hi Teresa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your statement that you’ve been visiting Walt Disney World for years is music to my ears, as I truly understand the magic that brings us back again and again. I’m sure you have so many wonderful memories of times you’ve spent in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and that makes my heart so very happy.

Teresa, your question brought a smile to my face because of a special memory of my own. My daughter adores Primeval Whirl in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and her little brother could not WAIT to be tall enough to ride. One visit, he was positive he was tall enough – but he was shy by a few inches, and he was crushed. The Cast Member at the attraction brought out a pixie-dusted extra-special card for him to hold on to, entitling him to a FastPass+ spin when he was finally tall enough to ride. Crisis averted, and after measuring him monthly for over a year, his Primeval Whirl dreams came true! You KNOW we took a photo of that boy grinning beside the measurement chart in front of the ride!

I love hearing that you have a few of those special cards, and I bet you have some very eager Mouseketeers. You should definitely pack those cards with you, and plan to stop at Guest Relations with them. The Cast Member there will be happy to take a look and, depending on the type of card or paper FastPass+ you have, assist in making some magic if possible. Please remember, pixie dust is never guaranteed, but it’s absolutely worth stopping by to see what options you might have for using those cards.

Have a magical time on your Grand Adventure, Teresa. There is a handy list of attraction height requirements you can check in advance of your visit, which is helpful for avoiding magical meltdowns upon arrival. If you have Mouseketeers who are not quite tall enough, plan to use Rider Switch Service, which allows Guests to take turns waiting with anyone unable to ride and ensures anyone who can and wants to ride is able. My kiddos have many great memories of enjoying a show or a Mickey ice cream bar with Grandma while the rest of us hopped on a thrill ride. Have so much fun together!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
