WDW is in 2 wks and am starting to panic. SIL just got back and spoke about how missed out on rides because they arrived late and FP were gone for day / wait too long. A while back I came across a list of what to do first at each park but not sure where?

    Hi Michelle!

Summer is typically a very busy time at Walt Disney World so popular FastPasses do have a tendency to run out fairly early. Many schools across the country will be back in session during your vacation, it looks like the crowd size will be smaller than when your Sister-in-law was visiting, that is sure to help with those popular rides. Each park has several attractions that are very popular and it is a good idea to ride those first or to obtain a FastPass to keep from waiting.  Here is my list of attractions that my family either rides first or make sure that we have FastPasses for:

Magic Kingdom- Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain
Epcot- Soarin', Test Track and Mission Space
Hollywood Studios- Toy Story Mania, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster
Animal Kingdom- Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur

My family will typically arrive early(usually at park opening)one person will get the FastPasses to one of the attractions listed above and immediately ride another popular attraction. With FastPasses you must wait until you have either used your current FastPass or the return time has passed in order to get another one.If a FastPass return time is several hours away, you may want to consider waiting in line because you will not be able to get another FastPass until that time is up.

Another good time to visit popular attractions is during parades and Firework shows, many guests will be watching the show leaving shorter lines for you!  Also, while there is not a FastPass make sure to visit Enchanted Tales with Belle in Magic Kingdom early. This is a new, very popular attraction that will often attract long lines no matter what time of year you are visiting.

I hope this was helpful and please let me know if I can help with anymore of your planning!

    Best Wishes!
