We are going to WDW the week of Halloween. We have 5 days at the park and the dining plan. This will be my 12 yo daughter's first trip. I'll take any advice on how to experience as much as possible as we may not get to go again. Thank you

    Hi Crystal!

Since there is so much for you and your daughter to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort, it really is best have a good plan so you can make the most of your trip. I recommend that each of you make a "must-do" list of attractions, Character Experiences, shows, restaurants and other experiences that you would like to enjoy. I recommend that you plan to spend a day in each theme park and for your fifth day, you can choose a park to see things that were missed or experience some things for a second time. You should also consider spending some time at Disney Springs to enjoy the shopping, dining and entertainment it has to offer!

The FastPass+ system will be key for you to maximize your vacation time. Every Guest can make three FastPass+ reservations per day in advance of your trip where you can use the FastPass+ queue, rather than the Standby queue, to enjoy the attraction. You can use your theme park plan and your "must-do" list to make a plan for the FastPass+ reservations you would like to reserve each day of your trip! This will cut down on the amount of time you spend waiting on the most popular attractions. You will also want to make dining reservations for any table service restaurants you are interested in enjoying and you can begin making reservations 180 days in advance of your trip. Finally, if you are interested in meeting Disney Characters, I recommend that you use your dining plan to enjoy Character Dining. This is a great way to maximize your time because you can meet some of the characters on your "must-do" list while you are enjoying a fantastic meal and avoid waiting in queues to see them during your trip.

Please let me know if you would like additional information on any of these topics as you continue to plan for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
