We will be in WDW 5/12-5/17. I have been trying to get an ADR for Ohana dinner for the last month with no luck. Any advice? Is it hard to get in without ADR? Do they have a waiting list in case of a cancellation? Do I try calling even while we are there?

    Aloha Danielle!

My advice is DON’T GIVE UP!  ‘Ohana is a very popular restaurant (my favorite) and can be difficult to get into if you haven’t made your reservations far in advance.  BUT you never know if there will be a cancelation in 5 minutes, in 5 days or the day of.  I have the online dining webpage in my favorites on my phone, so when I’m determined to get a reservation for a restaurant that has no availability, I refresh, refresh, refresh!  It doesn’t hurt to walk up and ask if they have any availability.  Often times, people don’t show up for their reservation, so it’s quite possible to score a table last minute.  Look to see what other dining experiences are available.  It's always good to have a back-up plan.
