1st WDW trip, trying to decide on either Cabins at FW or Port Orleans. We have a family of 6 which include 4 boys 8, 5, 4 & 2. What would be your recommendation? Bothered by the no vehicles inside the camp but love the full kitchen. PO RM's seem sma

Hi Susan!  We are a family of 5 and have stayed at both of the resorts you are asking about!  With out a doubt I would recommend the Cabins at FW!  They are absolutely incredible.  We stayed there for the first time in April, and we will definitely be going back.  I enjoyed the space we had, the full kitchen and the whole peacefulness of the resort.  I am a big fan of POR as well, but you will have so much more room in the cabins.
Also with regards to a car at the cabins, you are able to park right there at your cabin, which is such a treat.  On our last visit we opted several times to drive our own car rather than using the WDW bus transportation system.  This cut out on travel time, and remember you do not have to pay to park at the parks because your are staying on property.
Thanks so much for the great question, and I hope this information helps you in deciding upon a resort.  We appreciate you coming by the Mom's Panel!
