    Raquel from OH Asked

Hello, I am going to WDW on 12/28/2012, traveling with 2 adults and one 9 year old and 1 year old. We staying at the All Music Resort, but I am concerned with the noise at the halls; since my little one is a very light sleeper. What do you recommend?

    Hey Raquel!

I have two little ones.  One could sleep through a rock concert while the other one wakes at the drop of a pin.  It can definitely be frustrating when you're on vacation, no matter where you're staying.  One trick I've learned is to bring a small white noise machine along on our trips.  They use one in their room at night at home, and I've found the white noise helps block out any hallway or outside noises at our hotels.  It barely takes up any room at all in our suitcase and has definitely been a lifesaver!

You can also try requesting rooms away from the main pool area and the quiet pools.  Those areas have the highest foot traffic, and therefore, the highest chance for noise.  I have stayed at Disney's All-Star Music Resort in the past and found the Broadway section to be quiet peaceful.

I hope this helps ease your worries, Raquel!  Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
