Hi! Going to WDW 9/3-9/10. thinking of making reservations at Les Chef de France for dinner but worried my 4 and 2 year old won't enjoy it. Will kids these ages enjoy this restaurant? Thanks!

Hi, Bonnie! We took our boys to Chefs de France last year - our oldest was 5 and our youngest was 18 months old. Our boys are always very good at restaurants and we love taking them out to eat. Chefs de France fell out of pattern for us. It was one of the least enjoyable dining experiences we've had at Disney World.

I can put my finger on a couple of reasons why it didn't go so swell:

Everyone was a little tired (but you can sleep when you're dead, right?!) The tables were pretty close together, and as such, we felt really constrained - we didn't feel like we could easily get up to help our kids at the table, take a bathroom break for a needed diversion, or help our 5 year old when he somehow just fell out of his chair (wha?!) It also seemed to take longer for the entrees to arrive than other table service meals, such as Le Cellier.

We were on the Dining Plan at the time. When it was time for desserts, we got boxes and shoveled our "happy ending" into said boxes and proceeded to the opposite side of the perfume shop in France to eat them.

Two nights later, we went to Biergarten and IT WAS PERFECT.

I know all experiences can be different. I hope mine helps with your decision making process!
