We will be at WDW in September. We got the quick dining plan that includes the two meals and one snack. With this meal plan we are trying to figure what we should budget for another meal or if we need to budget anything. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi there Nykie,

When I purchase a dining plan that only includes two meals per day, I will usually budget to pay for a few breakfasts out of pocket while planning to eat breakfast in the room on the other days.  Breakfast is the best choice for paying out of pocket, since these meals usually cost less than lunch or dinner.

I will usually pack assorted cereals, granola bars, etc. which make for a healthy and inexpensive breakfast option.  You can also find pastries, donuts, and other low cost breakfast items in the grab and go section of your resort's food court.  There are also several items that qualify as "snacks" that can possibly meet your breakfast needs, eliminating the need to pay for anything out of pocket.

    Hope this helps,
