    Kellen from NJ Asked

We will be at WDW in Sept.and flying for the first time. Can we bring our lanyards with pins attached in our carry ons? I was concerned that they would set off the alarms in security or that the pins themselves would not be allowed on the plane. Thanks!

    Hi Kellen!

Woo Hoo!!!!  Flying into the most magical place on Earth is sooo exciting!  I hope that you are taking advantage of Disney's Magical Express airport shuttle - it is FREE and super convenient.  I have seen many people at Orlando International Airport wearing pin lanyards and walking through the security checkpoint.  However, just to be safe, I would pack them in a carry on bag and bring them with you that way.  You may be asked by security to remove them from you bag for closer inspection.

Just a little tip, we recently purchased a pack of locking pin backs while at Walt Disney World.  This way, we don't worry about our pins falling off!  Have an awesome vacation!
