Hi, We will be going to WDW in Sept. This is the first time going that we are not flying on a participating airline. Will we need to get our own luggage at the airport then use the Magic Express? I know that returning home we are responsibe for our bags.

    Kelly,

You will not have to pick up your luggage at Baggage Claim in the Orlando airport. Disney's Magical Express service and Resort Airline Check-In are two separate entities.

When you arrive Orlando, proceed to the Disney's Magical Express desk. Use the tags provided in your Magical Express packet to tag your bags prior to checking them in at your home airport. This marks your luggage for delivery to your Walt Disney World resort and is part of the Magical Express service.

For return to the airport, Disney's Magical Express provides the transportation via bus. To have your luggage sent ahead to the airport, you'll need to be flying on a participating airline that offers Resort Airline Check-In service.

You will bring your luggage to the Magical Express bus, load it underneath, board the bus, and then check in your luggage at the airport.

Hope this helps. I just love the Magical Express luggage service!
