    Esmeralda Asked

We are going to WDW the second week on August. We are from Mexico city and we are staying 2 weeks in an off site hotel 5 miles away. It is necessary to rent a car or we can take the shuttle to the parks?

    Esmeralda,

Great to hear from you - I LOVE Mexico City!!

I have stayed off site many times and have always used a car.  It is probably not necessary, but it may be a very good idea to rent a car.  It will give you more flexibility, as well as freedom to explore WDW and surrounding areas.

As you make you're own decision, I would consider:
    - The hours and frequency of the hotel shuttle throughout the day (Will you have to wait more than 20-30 minutes?)
    - Cost of rental car, gas and parking at WDW
    - Online reviews regarding the hotel's shuttle service (web sites like tripadvisor.com may have reviews that mention the bus service)

"Buena suerte" in your decision!  ºoº
