We're going to WDW for the second time. The kids are older now (17, 15 and 12) and I wanted to know the best places in the Resort that they would like the best. Thanks.

Hi Christopher! Any age is a great age to have fun while at Walt Disney World. I have raised my own two children from infancy on to now three beautiful grandchildren with Disney vacations!

Obviously the older children get the more excited they can be over the "thrill" rides such as the roller coasters. Some of them can do those over and over and over again. The beauty now is that you can leave them at one attractions and know they will find their way to meet up with you again at another or at dining times.

Epcot has something called Innoventions East and West. These buildings are full of interactive games and activities and your kids will love this area so be sure not to walk by as you are racing to other attractions. Also plan on spending some time at the end of some of the attractions where there are fun things to do such as Spaceship Earth.  Encourage them to view the World Showcase movies that many countries offer as it is a great insight for them into the world and other cultures. China, France, and Canada show beautiful films.

Downtown Disney will be a place to head with Disney Quest, Spltisville, and the AMC movie theater. Disney quest is a multi level interactive play area while Splitsville is the newest bowling alleys set to open sometime this fall. Maybe you can all find time to take in a movie and enjoy dinner during the film which is the Fork and Dine amenity. Take a tethered balloon ride up to see the entire property while you are in this area.

Recreation offers a ton of possibilities: fishing excursions, horseback riding, para sailing, Sea Raycer boat rentals, golf, mini golf, Segway tours, other tours, and water park fun. Older children sometimes love the time outside of a park just as much as inside because Disney offers so many fun diversions.  I am sure your entire family can have a vacation of their lifetime!
