As a WDW Resort guest, how can I avoid getting stuck in the security lines & the throngs of non-WDW Resort guests that arrived early but don't have access to the Early Morning Magic hours?

    Hello Sandra!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With this week being Spring Break and Easter Week, there will be crowds. However, the way to beat the crowds is to arrive earlier than them. Generally guests don't like to wake up early. That's why I always recommend arriving at a Walt Disney World theme park at least 30-45 minutes before park opening, so that leaves you time for security. Then you are that much ahead of the crowds once the park opens - including for Extra Magic Hours.

Also, security lines have gotten shorter since they added security checks at different Disney Resort hotels before getting on the monorail and at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Whenever I visit Walt Disney World during a holiday or busy time, I try to bring my patience and go-with-the-flow attitude. Have a plan of your must-do attractions and use FastPass+. Whenever I see Cinderella Castle as I walk down Main Street, U.S.A., then I get a smile on my face, and I become a kid again.
