I got a WDW Platinum Pass and won't activate until January. Can I still make FP+ reservations thru MDE even before I've activated the pass at the parks? Also will PhotoPass be automatic (no need to "link" account to Memory Maker)? Thanks!

    Hi Emily!

Welcome to the Walt Disney World Passholder family!  You will love all the perks and benefits that come with being a Passholder at Disney and one of my favorites is that all of my PhotoPass photos are included!  My family knows that when I see a PhotoPass photographer, they better be ready with a smile.  Ha!  The photos are automatically linked to your account and you can easily check them out on the My Disney Experience mobile app.  It's practically instant between tapping your MagicBand with the photographer and the photos popping up to view.  There is no need to do anything else!

You can certainly make FastPass+ selections even if your pass isn't activated.  As long as you have linked a purchased pass to each Guest in your party through your My Disney Experience account, the system will recognize that you have valid theme park tickets and FastPass+ will become available to you at 60 days prior to arrival if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at 30 days prior to arrival if you are staying off property.

If you haven't linked your purchased passes yet, you can do so by logging in to your My Disney Experience account online.  Click on "My Reservations and Ticket" and then on "Link Tickets".  The next screen will ask you for your purchase confirmation number, which is in your email confirmation and then you'll link each pass purchased to a specific Guest.  All done!

    Have a magical day!
