We are going to WDW this October and want to do the not so scary Halloween. We plan to be at the magic kingdom all day so do we need a regular ticket for the day and the special ticket for the night?

    Hi Michelle,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  You will absolutely love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it is my absolute favourite Special Event at Walt Disney World Resort!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event where Magic Kingdom Park closes early, and the party is exclusive to guests with tickets.  The party officially begins at 7:00, however guests with tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are allowed entry to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00.  If you would like to enter Magic Kingdom Park any earlier, you will need a regular Theme Park ticket for earlier in the day.  If you already have Theme Park Tickets, you can easily add an extra day to your tickets by visiting any Ticket Window, Guest Relations or your Hotel Lobby Concierge and a Cast Member will gladly add an extra day, provided there is still at least one day left on your existing Theme Park Ticket and it is under 14 days since your first use.  You will be responsible for the costs related to upgrading your Theme Park Tickets.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, and enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Michelle.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always here to help.
