We are going to be at WDW Oct. 25- Nov. 1. Some long range weather forcasts are calling for a strong front to move over Fl. on the 28th bringing rain and wind. We have tickets to MNSSHP. How often do they cancel this and what happens if they do?

We went to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party the night that Hurricane Wilma arrived at WDW, and the party still went on (the parks were actually closed the next day)!  We just threw on our rain ponchos and kept on going.  Many of the events such as dancing with characters are in sheltered areas, so we took advantage of those as well as the indoor rides. However, if the party were to be cancelled by WDW, the cost of tickets will be refunded.

While the first parade was cancelled, the weather let up enough for the second one to happen (yeah!!!).  I'll admit it wasn't quite like other parties we had been to, but we still made the best of it and had a wonderful, but soggy time.
