Hi, Jennifer!
Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You must be so excited for your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World, and your plans look fantastic so far!
First, starting your day at
Chef Mickey's is a great idea, as your family will get to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast AND will get to meet Mickey & pals.
You can easily walk over to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort; it's about a ten minute, easy, flat walk from the hotel to MK. Should you prefer to ride there, Walt Disney World's monorail stops just one floor up from your breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
Spend the day exploring all there is to see in Magic Kingdom, making sure that you arrange your
FastPass+ plans in the park that day. When you are ready to head over to
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, head to the resort monorail, which will take you to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This will be to the right as you exit Magic Kingdom. Your wait for a monorail could be about 5-15 minutes, and the ride itself will be about 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom to your destination (there will be stops between the two). Getting a great view of Magic Kingdom area resorts is part of the fun of a monorail ride, so enjoy the great view, Jennifer!
Send more questions as you plan; we love to help!
