We are going to WDW in Nov. and I made reservations to eat at the Coral Reef. Is there any way to request a table next to the large fish tank? Otherwise, I feel like I would be chasing my son all night instead of eating dinner.

Hi Stacy, The layout of this restaurant is such that every single table will have a great view of this large fishtank, but I know what you are saying and being right by the tank when you have small children is very nice as well as better for other guests dining there in my experience as children aren't standing next to you looking at the fish while you are eating but they belong to a table somewhere else and now you end up babysitting these children during your lunch or dinner. You can certainly request a table right by the fishtank, but there are no guarantees as these tables are very limited. I have been able to wait a bit longer to secure a table by the tank, but again, this is not always a possibility as many requests like this are made and it depends on how busy they are. Your children will also get an activity sheet where they will be able to look in the tank for various fish that are listed on their sheet and try and identify them, this is very nice as it really keeps them occupied during your dining experience and they get to learn some cool things while they eat. I wish you luck in getting the table you want and enjoy dining at the Coral Reef Restaurant (I have had many good meals there!). Best wishes, Brigitta
