We will be going to WDW for 7nights/6days. 2 @ MK, 2 @ AK, 1 @ Epcot and 1 @ HS. Will CB's put us behind in visiting the parks? It looks like there is so much to do and we are a bit overwhelmed. This will be our daughters 1st visit (age 6)

    Hi Mallory!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I'm not sure what CB stands for; the only thing that comes to my mind is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which is a nice Disney Moderate Resort to stay at.

However, I did want to offer some advice.  First I think 7 nights / 6 days is a nice length of stay and it will give you the opportunity to experience most things at Walt Disney World, unless you are visiting during an extremely crowded week.  With a young child, you will probably be spending most of your time in the Magic Kingdom, but I think you are right to visit all of the parks; all of the parks have attractions for guests of all ages.  However, Animal Kingdom is usually considered to be a one day park.  I suggest planning 2 days in the Magic Kingdom and one day everywhere else; then spend your extra day returning to your favorite theme park.  By the way, Epcot is a huge park and generally requires two days to experience "it all", but most young children don't particularly enjoy spending two days in that park.

I also recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book as it is full of information without being overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

By the way, be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) for any Table Service restaurants you want to experience.  ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  They are critical for visiting popular Table Service restaurants in the parks and the resorts.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
