    Robin Asked

We will be at WDW next week for 3 days. Our flight doesn't leave until 5:00, but check-out is at 11:00. Will we be able to visit one of the parks before we leave for the airport and will WDW keep our carry-on until they take us to the airport?

    Hi Robin,

Your trip is coming so soon - you must be so excited!

The answer to all parts of your question is yes.  Your Walt Disney World Resort will store your bags between the time that you check out and the time that you leave for the airport.  Simply take your bags to Bell Services, or call Bell Services from your room if you need assistance with your luggage.  They will store the luggage at your resort for you to claim before leaving for the airport.

You can absolutely visit a theme park before you head to the airport on departure day.  I might suggest that even though check out time is 11:00 a.m., you might want to leave your resort to head to a theme park earlier so that you have more time in the theme park.  If you are taking advantage of Disney's Magical Express transportation, you will receive information the night before your departure as to when Magical Express will arrive to take you to the airport.  This will likely be about three hours before your departure time, and will be from your resort hotel.  So you will need to give yourself some time to make it back to your resort from the theme park that you are visiting.

I hope that this information helps, Robin!  Have a wonderful trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
