Mom And Son On Run

We are going to WDW next fall with a large group (6 adults and 2 kids- 6 and 9 years old), one adult is a vegetarian who does eat seafood. My mother really wants to go to Spirit of Aloha, but I'm wondering if Ohana would be better for the vegetarian?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Allison!

I have to agree with your mom's choice! Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and 'Ohana both have wonderful menus, but the dinner show immerses you in the Polynesian experience. As you enjoy the all-you-care-to-enjoy feast, you will be entertained by traditional dancers, drummer and a fire performer, sure to captivate the attention of the Mousketeers in your group. While I tend to enjoy salads and vegetable dishes, my husband and son are the carnivores of the family and the dinner show menu provides dishes to satisfy everyone. On our last visit, my Mouseketeer feasted on BBQ ribs for the first time and even tried an amazing noodle dish that he still talks about to this day. Be sure to save room for dessert, as you won't want to miss the pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce.

When you make your reservation, I suggest discussing with the Cast Member one member of your party is vegetarian. Many times there are alternate dishes available, so every member of the party can enjoy the experience.

I hope this helps, and thanks for visiting us with your question. Please visit us again if we can answer other questions you may have as you continue to plan your visit.

    Have a magical day!
