Hello Moms! I am going to WDW with my neice-6, and nephew, 2 and a half, and their Mom- the kids usually go to bed around 7:30-8 ish- how can make sure they can see the night shows too? i.e. the MK fireworks and Fantasmic!

Hey Caroline!  Great question!  First let me say, it is amazing how these little ones find unknown energy when entering WDW.  My youngest is the same way, bed by 8 but when it comes to Disney, she can close down the park at any EMH's there are.  If you think they might be cranky, why not a short afternoon nap or even a little quiet time back at the resort.  On the nights you plan on viewing the fireworks and Fantasmic (both of which I highly recommend) there is just so much excitement in the air, I think they will have no problem at all staying awake for the fun.  I always treat mine to an evening goody, while we are waiting for attractions likes the ones you mentioned.  Yes normally, I would not give them a Mickey Ice Cream at 7 PM, but it's Disney, and it does seem to help keep them all going!
Thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel, and I hope you have a truly magical WDW vacation.
