We are going to WDW May 18th-24 of this year! And just like any other person, Im worried about crowds and weather. For this trip we have 2 kids (2 and 3) and this will be their first time. Can you please tell me about that time of the year? Thanks you!

    Hi there, Marissa!

I am so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I happen to love the month of May at the Walt Disney World Resort!  I think it is a fine time for a trip.  Then again, if you ask me, there is no bad time to visit.   Historically, crowds are very manageable during your dates.  With Memorial Day being May 26th this year, you may see a slight increase as the weekend approaches.  I always recommend good planning, especially with young children in tow.  Get to the parks about a half hour before posted opening time, and choose your FastPass+ selections in advance.  With regard to weather, you will most likely experience highs in the upper 80's and lows in the upper 60's (degrees in fahrenheit).  Like so many places around the globe, temperatures can fluctuate.  I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as you get ready to pack for your amazing trip.

Feel free to write back to me if I can help with any other questions.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
