Going WDW in May 2013 and looking for the best resort to stay at with a two year old

    Hi Colleen,

If it's in your budget, the best resorts to stay at with small children are Deluxe Resorts with easy access to Magic Kingdom.  Polynesian would be my first choice.  You have direct monorail access to Magic Kingdom, and the Transportation and Ticket Center is within walking distance, so getting to Epcot and other parks so easy.  To me, being able to get to and from the resorts with minimal travel is essential when I have a child that needs to rest/nap in the afternoon.

The rooms are spacious, which can be key with a toddler and all of their "stuff".  The pool area is fun, and there is a beach where your little one can play in the sand.  Plus, you can see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.

My favorite moderate resort with small children is Port Orleans Riverside.

If you're looking for a value resort, I would consider the new Art of Animation resort or Pop Century.  They're fun and colorful.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
