Hi we will be going to WDW in march of 2014 I was wondering how and when we can find out what park will have the extended open or close?

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  Extra Magic Hours are a wonderful way for guests of Walt Disney World resort hotels to enjoy extra time in the Disney theme parks, either before the park opens or after it closes.  As you are doing, it is a good idea to see which theme park offers the hours on each day of your vacation so that you can plan accordingly!

By going to the Walt Disney World Park Hours & Calendar site online, you can find the park hours, including the Extra Magic Hours, for the theme parks.  Since you mentioned that you are going in March 2014, the link I included will take you to March 31, 2014.  On that page, you can currently see that Disney's Animal Kingdom will open one hour early and Disney's Hollywood Studios will stay open two extra hours after closing on March 31, 2014.  You can find this information for other dates of your vacation by using the arrows near the top of the page surrounding the date.  Please do be aware that operating hours may change, so while you can use these for planning now, I do suggest that you double check the hours closer to your vacation.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Kelly!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
