    Raymond Asked

We will be at WDW in March, I purchased the deluxe dining plan, should I be making reservations for dinner now? I am getting mixed vibes on the dining package.

    Hi Raymond,

The deluxe dining package is really a treat.  We purchased it last summer, and ate (and ate and ate) some of our best meals to date at Disney!  Having so many table service meals will allow you to dine at some of Disney's finest restaurants.  We chose Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the California Grille at the Contemporary and Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge among many wonderful others.  We also enjoyed many fun character breakfast and lunches and some great "themed" meals at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater and Coral Reef.  As for "mixed vibes" on the plans, most people are concerned about whether they are a good value and trying to determine the most economical way to dine on vacation with versus without the dining option.  If you look at each of the plans, and think you and your family will use the meals allotted, I think they are a great value.  I think you'll find that most visitors who chose the dining plans are very happy (and full) with their choice at the conclusion of their vacation.

Regarding reservations, you may make advanced dining reservations up to 90 days in advance of your trip by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).  March can be a busy time in the parks and at the restaurants due to spring break and the Easter Holiday, so I recommend that you make reservations as soon as possible to ensure that you are able to dine at some of your top picks.

Congratulations on your upcoming trip, and bon appetit!
