We will be at WDW in March. I have booked breakfast at the Crystal Palace for 8:15 and we are going to go to a Braves game which starts at 1:05. Should we drive ourselves to MK and then to WWofS and how long should we allow to get to both places?

    Juli:

I grew up in Atlanta and am still a Braves fan!  You'll love how close the stadium sits you to the players and the action!

It may seem like you have all the time in the world for both breakfast and the game, but you'll eat up a lot of time simply walking to your destinations!  I would recommend you taking your car because, as of this time, there is no bus transportation from Magic Kingdom nor the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Wide World of Sports complex. (The only bus transportation is from Disney's Hollywood Studios.  And getting to DHS from MK can be difficult enough!)

You'll end up parking at the Ticket & Transportation Center and taking the monorail (although the ferry is shorter, but may not be open) for the 15 to 18 minute ride to the Magic Kingdom for breakfast (but give yourself 45 minutes for crowds and walking to the restaurant) and then back again to the TTC afterward to get your car and drive over to WWS. Give yourself a good 25 to 30 minutes from the restaurant back to the TTC and 30 minutes from the time you get to the TTC to get to the complex so that you can find a parking space, etc.  Then, give yourself another 20 to 30 minutes so you're not rushing to the stadium to your seats, as it's as large as one of the theme parks! In a nutshell, I would leave the Magic Kingdom, no later than 11:30 a.m. to get to the Wide World of Sports complex for the game.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
