We will be going to WDW in Mar '13 with 2 children 4 & 7. Has anyone been able to view the Little Mermaid section of Art of Imagination. From the arial views that I've seen, it looks like it would be quite a hike to animation hall and the bus service

    Hi Matthew,

Yes, I visited Disney's Art of Animation Resort in June.  It is an adorable new Disney resort.  You are correct that the Little Mermaid section of the resort is a lengthy walk to Animation Hall and the resort bus stop.  It is the only section of the resort that offers standard rooms.  These are much less expensive than the family suites in the other three sections of the resort but they are considerably further from the resort's main amenities.  You have to walk all the way through the Lion King section of the resort to get to Animation Hall from the Little Mermaid rooms.  Booking a room in the Lion King, Finding Nemo, or Cars section of the resort would decrease the walking you'll do on the resort grounds.

Let me know if you have any additional questions about Disney's newest resort!

Best wishes for a magical vacation next March.  (That's my very favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World).
