We are going to WDW in June. We stay at the Boardwalk as my Mom is a vacation club member. I heard  that we should buy our passes now so that we can plan our fastpasses. Any advice would be great -a big group of us. We won't stay together all the time

    Hi Lisa!

It sounds like you have already gotten some great advice! I also recommend you purchase your theme park tickets as soon as you are able, so that you are able to book your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to check-in, and you should have the best availability for top attractions and times. Also, since ticket prices can change at any time, buying early will avoid any potential price increases.

We often travel to Walt Disney World with extended family and friends, so I have a few tips for you.
    • The first it sounds as if you already know, which is to try not to plan on having everyone together all of the time. The larger the group, the slower you will move through the parks.
    • Plan one meal together each day, and make that official family time. Even if groups separate to do their own thing throughout the day, we know we will all come together for sharing a meal.
    • For group members that are staying together through the parks, use break times wisely. If you need to make a “pit stop” for example, I recommend everyone, but especially the children also use the washroom at that time. This prevents you from making a “pit stop” after each and every attraction as each individual bladder reaches their limit.
    • Use Disney’s complementary transportation. By using Disney’s transportation, it is easy for one part of the family to return to the hotel earlier or later than the rest of the group.
    • I recommend Memory Maker for most family vacations, but if you have a large group, I think it is even more valuable. If everyone in your group is linked with photo sharing in My Disney Experience, you will be able to view and download everyone’s park, dining and attraction photos.

I hope you have fun planning this adventure for your family, let me know if I can answer any other questions.

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
