we are going to WDW in june. we are so excited. i got a reservation at the contemporary resorts chef mickey for 7:35. we are staying at all-star movies. what time should we leave?if taking the buses?or would it be better to drive to the monorail? thank you

    Hi Georgann,

If you have the convenience of a car, I would definitely drive instead of other modes of transportation as this is a very early reservation and could get a bit tricky otherwise plus you will save much time by driving yourselves.  You can certainly go to the Magic Kingdom parking lot, park your car, go to the Ticket and Transportation Center and hop on a monorail to the Contemporary if you will be going to Magic Kingdom after your breakfast.......OR you can drive directly to the Contemporary Resort.  You will only need to tell the security guard there that you have a breakfast reservation for "Chef Mickey's" and at what time, he will ask what your last name is to confirm this information, look on his sheet and then give you a complimentary parking pass for up to 3 hours.  It is quite easy to drive there and you can ask for directions from the "Guest Services" desk at your resort.  This last way is probably what I would do and then if I were going to the Magic Kingdom afterwards I would just drive there and take the monorail at that time.  Enjoy your breakfast and say Hi! to Mickey and his pals for me.

    Have a magical day!
