We are going to WDW Jan 3-8 of 2009. Unfortunately, we can't find much info in order to plan our trip. We can't find out prices to add a DDP, we can't book a WDW hotel, we can't find out park hours, nothing. Our 180 days is coming soon. Help!

    Take a deep breath :-)

First of all, you don't need any of the things you mention to be able to make advance dining reservations 180 days in advance. All you need to do this is your own phone number. The cast member on the phone at Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE)  will use this as a reference code for your reservations. Many, many off-site guests and Florida residents make dining reservations and they do not need a hotel code to do this.

As far as the park calendar and hours go, traditionally these have been released at the beginning of the month, six months in advance. This would put the release date at the start of July. With any luck, you'll have the information a day or two before you make your calls. In any event, I would start to rough out a plan now. You can always make modifications when the calendar is released.

As far as pricing goes, much of the pricing for 2009 has not been released yet. Historically this information has come out in the later part of the summer. But that doesn't mean you can't reserve your trip yet. If you call the main Disney reservations line at 407-W-DISNEY, you can actually reserve a hotel room up to 499 days in advance. They will tell you that full pricing information is not available yet. But you can make some good guesses based on this year's pricing.

Many of the issues you are concerned about are easier to resolve by speaking with a person than over the phone. I have found the reservationists at 407-W-DISNEY to be quite helpful. Try giving them a call.
