Hi, we are going to wdw jan 21, 2010!! my dd birthday is jan 4th. can we still celebrate if we dont have dinner reservations... we were thinking at the t-rex but isn't that just walk in?? she will be turning 4, Will we still need a stroller for her?

    Hi Stacey,

Happy (almost) birthday to your little girl!  TRex is a great spot to celebrate a special birthday.  TRex does take reservations.   I would recommend making one to ensure that your wait time is minimal, by calling the restaurant directly at (407)828-TREX (8739).  When you check in at the podium (or when you are greeted by your server) let them know that it is your daughter's birthday, and they can "spruce up" any dessert you order and sing for her special occasion.

As for a stroller, I absolutely recommend bringing one along for your little girl.  I know she's probably way to big for a stroller at home, but the average amount of walking a family undertakes during a day at Disney can make a seasoned athlete tired, let alone a set of four-year-old legs!  You can always allow your daughter to walk part of the day, and when she needs a break, have a seat.  I like keeping young children in strollers for safety reasons as well.  The parks can be crowded, and having your daughter safely seated in front of you will help you keep a watchful eye on her.  Finally, having a stroller will enable you to move through the parks at an adult's pace, allowing you to see and do more during your visit.

    Have a magical birthday visit!
