I will be in WDW with my husband, 4 1/2 year old & a friend in Feb when I am six months pregnant.I hope to handle the walking & keep up, however,I understand there are electric convenience vehicles. Is a Dr's note required & can you explain

    Hi Jennifer,

I hope this gets to you before you leave and congratulations on your pregnancy.

Walt Disney World is a huge place so you'll be pleased to know that there are Electric Convenience Vehicle rentals in every park. Anyone can rent one and no Doctors certificate is required. The cost at the moment is $45 per day plus a $20 refundable deposit, subject to change. A cheaper option is a regular wheelchair at $10 per day plus a $100 refundable deposit.

When you enter a park pick up a map and it will show you the rental locations, they are normally right near the entrance. One thing to bear in mind is that sometimes, especially in busy times, all the ECV's get rented so you may want to decide early in the day if you'll require one!

    Have a great trip,
