I am going to WDW for my honeymoon July 6th-13th we have the Premium dining plan. I am trying to understand it so I can use it.. we get 3 meals and 2 snacks..what is considered a meal? I also read in a book that you can use your snacks at a candy shop?

    Hi Jenny,

Congratulations on your up coming wedding, Disney World is such a fantastic place to spend your honeymoon!
I've never done the Premium Dining Plan but it sounds absolutely amazing as not only do you get lots of food but also included are lots of activities like Guided Tours, Archery, Parasailing and golf. If you click HERE it will take you to the Premium Brochure which should help explain how the plan works. It also lists all the participating restaurants where you can spend your credits and lists what is included with each meal!

As for snacks my favourite place to spend my snack credits is Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney. The general rule is any single serving item under $4 is included but it's best to ask a cast member just in case. At Goofy's you can get fantastic make your own treats, you can choose a rice crispy head or marshmallows on a mickey head straw and then choose how to cover them. There are all sorts of chocolate to dip them in and candy to cover them before they're drizzled in caramel or more chocolate, not fattening at all ;-) I also love to spend my snack credits on Dolewhips at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom or yummy snacks around the world showcase in Epcot.

    Have a fantastic honeymoon,
