Going to WDW in the fall and would like to know what is the waterpark policy for glasses, can you enjoy the slides with your glasses on or do they have to be removed.

    Hi Kimberley!

How wonderful that you and your family will be experiencing the Walt Disney World theme parks and Water parks during the fall!  You will love Typhoon Lagoon (just make sure you are ready for those waves!!!) and Blizzard Beach (my fave!) and all the attractions they offer!

Although there is no official policy, its all at your own discretion.  Several times during our trips to the WP, we've seen guests lose their sunglasses or, worse yet, eyeglasses while enjoying one the fun twists and turns of the attractions at the water parks.  The lifeguards that are stationed at the end of the attractions would radio for maintenance to come with a net and retrieve whatever item fell.  Personally, as a sunglass wearer, I would opt to hold them in my hand while sliding down the attractions.  It gives me security that I won't be losing, nor damaging, any of my personal effects.

Just as a side note, the same goes with water shoes/flip flops.  The Cast Members will make you hold them when you are ready to head down the slide.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
