We are going to WDW in the Fall with a child in a wheelchair. Haunted Mansion was her fav when we were there in 2010 but we had to hold her for several mins during the first part before boarding. Can we bypass that part and go straight to the vehicle?

    Hi Vickie!

I'm so delighted to hear your daughter enjoyed The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom! You may certainly ask the ride's Cast Member if it would be possible to transfer her to the vehicle as soon as possible. As you are already familiar with this ride, you know that Guests must transfer from their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to board the ride vehicle. It is possible you might have to wait a couple of minutes before accessing the vehicle, but rest assured they will try to accommodate your family's needs as quickly as possible. Also be sure to read the Guests with Mobility Disabilities section on our website too. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
