Ohanas Best Friend Breakfast

Going to WDW at the end of November for the first time. Is it better to have the Character experience dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michele! My family has had all 3 meals with characters at any given point, so I’ll share my experience!

My kids love a breakfast buffet with characters. For this meal, we like to choose between Ohana, Hollywood & Vine or the Crystal Palace. Lunch is typically a time we spend at quick service restaurants since we are on the move in the parks, but we have had a lovely lunch at Ohana when we’ve spent the morning at the Resort pool. For dinner, it’s a mixed bag of character meals such as 1900 Park Fare (we LOVE to meet Cinderella’s Stepsisters here!) and character/show experiences like Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. Those dinner shows are obviously best spent during the evening time, but you’ll find a festive atmosphere at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest; those 2 in-park character meals are the perfect way to cap off your day. Depending on which restaurant you’d like to dine at, there are various mealtimes that suit it best. No matter what you choose, more than 1 character meal a day can be overwhelming in terms of a full plate and time spent at the table.

If I can help you narrow down a good breakfast or dinner choice for your family, please let me know. Some restaurants such as Hollywood & Vine and 1900 Park Fare offer different sets of characters for meals. I’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
