Hi. We're going to be in WDW at the end of August for our FIRST time! Since we'll be driving down to Florida my question is this: since check in is at 3 cam we still use the pool before check in?

Woo Hoo, Marienn! You're first Walt Disney World vacation! I know that you are so excited!

Once you arrive at your resort, no matter the time, you will be able to access your resort pool(s). Typically, resort rooms are not ready until around the 3 pm hour, but sometimes those rooms are prepared a bit faster and allow guests to move into their "home". Be sure to have your MagicBand handy, so that you can present this to the Cast Member at the security checkpoint when driving in.

If your resort is not ready upon your arrival, you can either keep your luggage in your vehicle or ask bell Services to hold your items for you until your room is ready! Just take with you the items you will need to splash around in the pool!

*Pixie Dust Pointer-Be sure to use the Online Resort Check-In service by logging into your My Disney Experience account, if you haven't already. By completing the online check-in in advance, you can skip the line at the front and receive a text message and email to alert you when you resort room is ready!

Marienn, have the most magical time ever on your FIRST Disney vacation!

ChEARS to you and your family on this wonderful experience! If you have more questions either before your arrival or while you are there, visit with us again and we will answer your question!
