We will be in WDW for Easter and would like to have a nice dinner. We dont want anything to big or heavy. we will be having a very large breakfast at the Crystal Palace that morning. Any ideas, we are a family of 5 ages 18 16 and 8. U R all so wonderful

Hi, Deborah!  Some of the restaurants may have a special Easter menu, but that information has not yet been released.  Barring changes to the menu for the holiday, there are so many options!

If you plan on staying at the Magic Kingdom, you can try the Plaza restaurant.  The menu features mostly sandwiches and salads, so it's definitely lighter than a big meal, but if someone feels really hungry, there are big cheeseburgers and steak sandwiches in addition to the lighter options.

The brand new, not open until December, Be Our Guest restaurant is going to have a delicious menu with a French theme.  You can find lighter options there, which are scheduled to include pan seared salmon and ratatouille.  The kids menu, which your eight year old might try, is one of the best I've ever seen, with grilled entrees and whole grain pasta options.

If you're choosing counter service instead of a big sit down meal, you might find Columbia Harbor House has some lighter fare that works for a rumbly tumbly.  Grilled salmon, vegetarian chili, and salads are featured here.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
