    David from KY Asked

Going to WDW in early Dec., it's the first time for my girlfriend and she is so excited. We are staying for a week and I am going to propose to her while we are there. I was hoping to make it as magical and memorible as possible. Any suggestions?

Oh David, congratulations!  I'm so excited!

Last year Cinderella's castle was bathed in shimmering lights and it was spectacular.  I remember thinking at the time that it would be a great backdrop for a proposal.

First I suggest visiting the Disney Florist website to look for ideas.  They have a glass slipper on a pillow that can be delivered to your love at just the right moment.  In front of the shimmery castle, with a rose and a ring...

Another website to consider is www.giftsofalifetime.com, though be warned it's not a cheap service.

Ask about having a PhotoPass photographer on hand to capture the big moment!  I would love to have pictures of my proposal.  You can even have these made into a scrapbook for you when you order the pictures!

Over dinner in the castle is another great way to propose.  When we ate at Cinderella's Royal Table last December we actually talked to the chef about proposals, and were able to sample a beautiful (and tasty!) special Cinderella's slipper dessert plate that they use for proposals.  You could have a ring delivered that way as well.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure your girlfriend will love it.  The time and effort you're spending planning this in advance will be obvious and I know it will mean a lot to her.

    Good luck!

PS)  I'm in KY too so swing by and tell me how it goes, ok?  :)
