Going to WDW December. What is included in Mickey's Christmas party? Is it worth the extra cost?

    Hello Debbie –

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming trip in December! You picked an excellent time of the year to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort, and I am sure that your family will have a blast. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a ticketed event that provides magical holiday enjoyment for all of the members of your family. The ticket includes admission to the Magic Kingdom Park which is closed to other non-ticketed guests.

During this holiday extravaganza enjoy unique shows, fireworks displays, special parades, and you just might get a white Christmas on Main Street if you wish upon a star! My favorite activities are the holiday dance parties with our beloved Disney Characters all decked out in their holiday gear. Look closely, and you may also spot characters that are rarely seen outside of your favorite Disney movies. If you get hungry or thirsty, enjoy Hot Chocolate and Cookies which are complimentary for all guests. Finally, mouseketeers can experience their favorite rides with no need of a FastPass+ due to lower crowds.

These are some of the reasons that I find this event is worth the extra cost, Debbie, so consider your family’s needs to see if you might enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by, and happy planning to you!
