We are going to WDW in Dec. My son is 4 and will turn 5 on the trip. I would like to do the Candle Light Processional at Epcot. My question is do you think he is too young for this? Do you think he will get bored?

Hello from up north, Melissa! My oldest son is five. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but honestly, I think my son would not care for the Candlelight Processional at all. I think he'd like the cliff notes version, but he'd get antsy and suspect that I somehow pulled the wool over his eyes and brought him to a church service.

If it's an option for you, I'd suggest dividing and conquering with your husband so one of you could see it, because the Candlelight Processional is incredibly moving and shouldn't be missed if you have the opportunity to do it. If you'd prefer to lurk in the distance and watch it from afar, there are crafts, snacks and photo ops with the Clauses nearby in the American pavilion that will help you stay in the vicinity of the performance.
