We will be at WDW Dec. 30-Jan.5 with DDP kids age 6 & 4, both picky eaters & I am concerned about allowing dessert at 2 meals/day. I would like your advise on Snack options in all 4 parks that are the best values and nonsweets (beyond pretzels)

I understand your concerns, Sharon.  Here's the good news, though: most kids meals include desserts that are mom approved.  It's fairly standard for counter service kids meals to include grapes or applesauce as dessert.  I think certain locations may offer yogurt.  Even at table service restaurants where more traditional dessert choices are offered (think ice cream sundae or cupcake), your children will also be able to choose fruit as dessert.  As for healthy snack options, I like the following:

    - fresh fruit from the Harambe fruit market in Animal Kingdom
    - popcorn from various vendors in the parks
    - pineapple spear from Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom
    - apple slices with caramel dip from various vendors
    - steamed fresh broccoli at Columbia Harbor House
    - grapes from the Liberty Square Market
    - bagged carrots from Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
    - pita chips from the Backlot Cantina at Hollywood Studios
    - granola bar from Dinosaur Gertie's at Hollywood Studios

Hopefully one of those snacks will fit the bill.  Enjoy!
