We are in WDW for 2 days in August. We would like to get to each of the 4 parks, but realize it will be hot and we will be moving slower! Our girls are 12 & 8. Any suggestions?

    Hi Teresa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I can understand why you want to visit all four parks, especially if this is your first trip to Walt Disney World.  However, I suggest not doing that.  Instead, I suggest just visiting two of the theme parks.  Each theme park really requires more than a day to explore and sticking to just two theme parks means you don't have to purchase the Park Hopper option on your Magic Your Way tickets which can be expensive for a 2 day visit.

If you have never been before, I suggest visiting either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios on the first day and visiting the Magic Kingdom on the second day.  I suggest saving the Magic Kingdom because it is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and thus you are basically saving the best for last.

If you have never been before, I also suggest picking up the tour book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information but it is not overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World and help you decide between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
