We'll be in WDW 10/30-11/5 and want to avoid Halloween themed things. We know to skip MK that day, but are any of the other 3 less focused on HW than the others?Thinking of DHS on the 30th-didn't know if 31st should be resort day?

    Hello, Tara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The last few years my family has vacationed at Walt Disney World Resort at Halloween. The Magic Kingdom and several Disney Resort hotels have been decorated with decor such as pumpkins and fall flowers. Some of the Disney Resort hotels do offer Halloween games, costume contests and other seasonal activities for Guests who wish to participate. I do not remember the other theme parks having specific Halloween activities on October 31.

As an alternative to a theme park, consider spending the day at Disney Springs. Maybe start your day off at Splitsville Luxury Lanes with a game or two of bowling before heading over to the Food Truck - World Showcase of Flavors for a yummy lunch. Next, board a tethered helium balloon at Characters in Flight to get a unique view of the area from 400 feet above! Be sure to plan some time to shop at the newly opened Town Center Shopping area and end your day at a waterfront table at The BOATHOUSE®: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats.

I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if we can suggest other activities for your family to enjoy during your visit!

    Have a magical day!
