Going to WDW in August and not sure if we will go to a water park..if we do decide to go can we just pay the upgrade price from our park ticket or do we need to buy a separate water park ticket?

    Hi Christine,

You might discover August weather in central Florida is perfect for a day of slash and play fun. If so, you may add on the Water Park Fun and More option to your tickets or purchase tickets to one of the water parks separately.

Plan to only visit one water park? Then buying a ticket just to enter either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach is probably the more economical option. If you opt for the upgrade, you will obtain multiple admissions, based on the number of park days covered by your base ticket, to the water parks, Disney Quest, golf, and more. For example, if you have a four day park ticket and add on the WPFM you will have four admissions to the included activities. This allows you to visit both water parks, play some miniature golf, and pick another fun activity. Crunch the numbers to see if separate water park tickets or adding on the Water Park Fun and More option is the best deal for your family.

    Enjoy your visit to Mickey!
