We are going to WDW this August. We have never been to a dinner show and want to go this year. Can you recommend which would be the best for my husband, myself and two 17 year olds? What does it mean when the say they have certain sections for DDP. Thank

    Hello, Wendy,

My family, which includes 3 teenagers, really likes Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  It is so much fun with loads of tasty food. Your dinner is served family style, and it's all you can eat.  But in addition to the great dinner, the dinner show is hoot.  Lots of laugh out loud moments and plenty of smiles and giggles.  And I knew when my then slightly grumpy 15 year old was all smiles and clapping along with the audience, we had hit on our hands. It's been several years since we saw our first show, and he still quotes some lines from it!

When using the Disney Dining Plan, it  can be used for Category 2 or Category 3 seating at all Dinner Shows (subject to availability) and Category 1 seating at the 8:30pm Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (subject to availability). Two Table-Service meals for each person dining at a Dinner Show will be redeemed from your meal plan balance.  If this still seems confusing, you may want to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE where a cast member can further explain this and make advanced dining reservations if you'd like.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again with your planning.
