We will be at WDW around my sons 6th b-day, do they do anything special? We are staying at a WDW resort. Thank you, Jesus loves you.

    Hi Shawna,
Celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World is certainly magical!

As you enter a theme park, make sure to stop by guest relations (inside the part entrance) to pick up a complimentary Birthday Celebration button which your son can wear it throughout the day.  I can tell you from experience that it is very fun to have people recognize that it is your special day!

If you decide to go to dinner, most table-service restaurants also have birthday cakes available (at a cost of $21 for a 6-inch cake which serves 4-5 people and is available in both chocolate and vanilla). No notice is necessary; you can order upon arrival.  I have also learned that the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney does offer a complimentary 'ice cream sunday' for the birthday person.

Have an absolutely wonderful birthday trip!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
