Teens dressed as pirates

Hello! What are some ways that I can make Disney World special for my teenage daughter? She's very excited and is still young at heart but I want to make sure she has a special time! Ive already looked into trading pins and an autograph book for her!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah! Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World… just think, in less than a week you and your daughter will be visiting the most magical place on earth!

I love your idea in regard to getting your daughter trading pins and an autograph book. We recently started collecting pins with our daughter and she has just a few autographs started within her book. Both of these add that extra bit of magic to our vacations.

What if you also planned to get your daughter a set of Mickey or Minnie Ears? With so many styles available, I always love the idea of getting teenagers a Disney Gift Card and then allowing them to pick out whichever Ears they want. This way they have a little extra purchasing freedom.

In talking with my fellow panelist, Shantel, she mentioned that you’ll be attending Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park. To help your daughter dress to her diabolical best, you could also book a Character Couture where a Disney Cast Members will skillfully work their magic to help your daughter get into character during your visit to the parks or at a special event.

These are just a few ways to spruce up your vacation next week. However, whatever options you choose, I’m positive that you and your daughter will make memories for a lifetime. Safe travels, tell Mickey I said hello and have a wicked time!

If you have any other questions please let us know. Have a magical day!
